The core of Draw Poker consists of a player building up a hand from 5 cards. After the early round of betting the player receives replacements after optionally discarding some or all of their cards. Until the final Showdown, the player’s cards should never be revealed, and are shown only if absolutely necessary (more on that later). All the cards are dealt and discarded face down during the game.

A player has to choose 5 best cards out of the 7 cards which will be his poker hand. The player with the best poker hand at the end of the round is the winner and takes all the money in the middle.
